Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal downplays impact of LPG shortage on business

Eternal founder Deepinder Goyal told analysts after reporting the company’s fourth-quarter earnings that the recent LPG shortage in India has had no meaningful impact on Zomato’s operations, dismissing concerns around its effect on the firm’s Q1FY27 performance.

Goyal said localised supply disruptions, whether from LPG shortages, weather events, or other similar factors, redistribute demand across the platform rather than suppress it for the whole business.
