Google AI data center to position Vizag as gateway for ‘Intelligence India’: Rakesh Bharti Mittal

NEW DELHI: The Google AI Hub in Vizag will position Andhra Pradesh as the gateway for “Intelligence India”, said a top executive of Bharti Enterprises on Tuesday.

“Nearly 12,000 kilometres of fibre already exist in the ground. This opportunity for this region, for the state, for Vizag, is going to position it as a gateway for Intelligence India, Digital India, and all that infrastructure,” Rakesh Bharti Mittal, vice chairman of Bharti Enterprises, said.

“Vizag, historically a gateway for maritime trade, will now be a gateway to the intelligence age for India and the globe,” Mittal added.
