Microsoft rolls out Copilot to Accenture’s 743,000 employees, its largest deployment to date

Microsoft is rolling out its Copilot 365 AI assistant to all of Accenture’s roughly 743,000 employees, marking one of the largest enterprise deployments of the tool so far. The rollout follows an earlier phase where the company tested Copilot with smaller groups before expanding it across the organisation. As announced by Microsoft, Accenture began with a pilot involving a few hundred employees and later scaled it to around 20,000 users before moving to a wider rollout. The phased approach allowed the company to study usage patterns, set internal guidelines and prepare teams for broader adoption.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared an X post announcing the rollout. “Super to see Accenture roll out 740,000+ M365 Copilot seats—our largest deployment to date!,” Nadella writes in the post.
