MMRCL gets no bids for underground Mumbai Metro 3 telecom infra; to seek government guidance

Mumbai: The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) has not received any bids for the telecom infrastructure contract on the underground Metro 3 Aqua Line, leaving the project without a clear near-term solution for ensuring seamless mobile connectivity inside tunnels and stations.

The contract is meant to enable uninterrupted mobile network coverage across the 33.5km fully underground corridor with 26 underground and one at-grade station.
