C-DoT to commercialise indigenously-developed 5G radio network

NEW DELHI: The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), which has locally developed and manufactured fifth-generation (5G) radios in partnership with domestic partners, is looking to market them worldwide following deployment in India.

“C-DoT made the 5G radio as part of a consortium with VVDN Technologies and WiSig Networks, which can work in non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) mode. It’s co-developed with industry partners. We funded the project’s development. The manufacturing has been done by VVDN,” Rajkumar Upadhayay, chief executive officer (CEO), C-DoT told ETTelecom.
