NEW DELHI: 6G mobile networks could contribute an additional $1.24 trillion to the global economy by 2040, equivalent to 0.7% of global GDP, according to a new report published by the GSMA. The GSMA, which represents mobile operators worldwide, is urging policymakers to act now. This action is necessary to avoid constraining future economic growth, especially with crucial international spectrum decisions approaching at the World Radiocommunication Conference in 2027 (WRC-27).
