Soket Labs, ZenteiQ launch indigenous foundation models under IndiaAI Mission

Soket Labs and ZenteiQ on Tuesday launched indigenous artificial intelligence foundation models under the IndiaAI Mission, marking another step in the country’s push to build homegrown AI capabilities.

EKA-1, developed by Soket Labs, and Dhir 2B and Dhir 5B, developed by ZenteiQ are some of the models unveiled under the initiative.

MeitY Secretary S Krishnan and senior officials of the ministry and IndiaAI were present at the launch event.
