Cisco tasks 27-year-old with refactoring 98% of legacy code: Report
NEW DELHI: Cisco’s president and chief product officer, Jeetu Patel, has assigned Padmanabhan Krishnamurthy, 27, to refactor 98% of the company’s legacy code within 24 months, according to a Fortune report on Friday.
Patel stated that Krishnamurthy, co-founder of the real-time translation startup EzDubs acquired by Cisco in 2025, has been given “unlimited tokens” for the AI-driven code refactoring project. “I’ve given him unlimited tokens because he’s going to refactor code,” he told the publication.
