Bureau launches silent mobile verification for UPI device binding
NEW DELHI: Bureau, a global unified risk decisioning platform, announced the launch of its Silent Mobile Verification (SMV) service on Thursday.
The SMV service aligns with NPCI specifications and offers a telecom-powered authentication capability. It verifies a mobile number and its SIM association on the requesting device in real time.
Operating in the background via the mobile operator’s data network, SMV provides frictionless verification without SMS OTPs. It can be used for user login, UPI SIM binding, and transaction authentication.
