UBS weighs moving headquarters out of Switzerland over tougher capital rules: Report
UBS is drawing up contingency plans that could include moving its headquarters out of Switzerland if lawmakers proceed with tougher capital requirements for the bank, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
The options under consideration include acquiring a US financial institution and relocating there, merging with a European rival, or selling itself to a US bank, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.
