NEET row: Nandan Nilekani calls for end to question papers, backs AI-generated tests to stop exam leaks

Technology leader Nandan Nilekani has called for replacing traditional question papers with AI-generated questions and nationwide computer-based testing to curb paper leaks that have repeatedly disrupted high-stakes examinations.

The Infosys co-founder who heads the high-powered task force on exam reforms, on Tuesday said the issue of question paper leaks can be addressed with a “systematic” approach and advocated the use of technology to deal with the problem.
