Submer India, BSNL Tower Corporation to develop AI-ready data centres across India
NEW DELHI: Submer India and BSNL Tower Corporation Limited (BTCL) on Monday said they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the recently concluded India Mobile Congress (IMC 2026) to explore the development of sovereign, AI-ready data centre infrastructure across India.
The collaboration will focus on infrastructure designed for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) requirements. Submer and BTCL will jointly assess opportunities for GPU-as-a-Service, sovereign AI cloud infrastructure, and edge and micro-edge data centres.
