CSM Technologies takes Kenya’s mining royalty system online
Kenya now collects mining royalties through a digital platform built by an Indian company. Bhubaneswar-headquartered CSM Technologies said that it has deployed the Royalty Management System (RMS) for Kenya’s State Department for Mining.
The system went live on September 28 and is now the official channel for declaring, assessing, paying and tracking mineral royalties across the country. CSM executed the project through its wholly owned Kenyan arm, CSM Tech Limited.
