    UPI volumes dip 1.8% in September to 24.07 billion transactions after August peak

    Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transaction volumes declined slightly in September, dropping 1.8 per cent month-on-month to 24.07 billion from a peak of 24.51 billion transactions in August, according to data from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

    The value of UPI transactions fell 1.5 per cent month-on-month to Rs 29.37 lakh crore in September, down from Rs 29.82 lakh crore in August.
