Synopsys, Amazon cloud computing arm ink chip design licensing deal worth over $1 bn
NEW DELHI: Synopsys on Wednesday said that Amazon’s cloud computing arm has entered into a multi-year agreement worth over $1 billion to license application-optimised chip design intellectual property from Synopsys.
“The multi-year agreement marks the expansion of Synopsys’ silicon IP business to serve increasing demand for application-optimized IP with Amazon as its lead customer,” Synopsys said in a joint statement.
