WhatsApp may soon bring redesigned navigation bar for Android users: Report
Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly working on a refreshed design for its Android app. According to a latest leak by WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a new bottom navigation bar separate from the main interface with rounded corners and a floating layout. “The floating bar and rounded edges are the main similarities with the iOS version. However, this does not mean that WhatsApp will also add the same translucent effect to the bottom navigation bar on Android,” the report adds.
As per the report, the redesigned navigation bar was spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.26.38.10 update, which is available through the Google Play Store. It is currently under development and has not enabled it for beta testers either.
