TCS, IEM Kolkata to set up AI Centre of Excellence for research, industry-focused learning

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata, will set up an artificial intelligence-focused Centre of Excellence to promote applied learning, research and industry-oriented innovation, the companies said.

The two-year collaboration will bring together TCS’s industry expertise and IEM’s academic ecosystem, with the centre providing students and faculty opportunities to experiment with AI technologies, develop industry-relevant use cases and understand their real-world applications.
