Bihar CMO employee booked over photo of minor victim on CM’s X handle

PATNA: Bihar Police have registered an FIR against a Chief Minister’s Office employee for allegedly posting a photograph that could reveal the identity of a minor molestation victim and her family on Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary’s official X handle.

The employee identified as Sagar Prasad, a stenographer in the CMO, and said the case was registered at Patna’s Sachivalaya police station. The complaint invokes provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the POCSO Act and the Information Technology Act.
