US, China can ensure AI development remains under human control, serves people: Xi Jinping

China and the US have the “capability and responsibility to develop and manage AI for good” and make sure that AI’s development remains under human control, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday during his visit to Washington.

“We have both the capability and responsibility to develop and manage AI for good and ensure that a development of AI is always under human control and serves the well being of the people,” the Chinese leader said.
