LG India bets on Sri City facility to boost exports to double digits

NEW DELHI: LG Electronics India expects the contribution of exports to its revenue to rise to double digits soon, backed by sustained demand for premium products and the expansion of its manufacturing footprint, said a top executive of the consumer appliances maker.

“In the first quarter of FY27, our export business growth was in double digits. Our current export contribution is around 6-7% of our revenue. With the start of the Sri City manufacturing facility, we will further expand our exports to double-digit contribution levels,” Sanjay Chitkara, co-chief sales officer & marketing officer at LG Electronics India, told ETElectronicsWorld in an interview on the sidelines of the company’s launch of AX-series semi-automatic washing machines
