Google opens pre-orders for $899 Googlebook laptops with Gemini AI: Here’s what they offer

Google has finally started taking pre-orders for its all new Googlebook laptops. Launched in May this year, the laptop mark Google’s most ambitious push into AI-driven personal computing, positioning Googlebook as a premium alternative to traditional Chromebooks. Shipping begins October 4 in the US and October 5 in Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and Australia. The tech giant says that GoogleBook is designed to be a laptop with AI at its core by combining the speed of the Chrome browser, the vast library of Google Play apps and a modern design built specifically for the new Gemini Intelligence platform.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai also took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to post by the Googlebook.
