NIT Rourkela showcases indigenous chip design at SEMICON India 2026
National Institute of Technology Rourkela showcased Odisha’s growing capability in indigenous semiconductor and chip design at SEMICON India 2026 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi.
The national event began on September 17 and is set to conclude on September 19.
NIT Rourkela presented a chip designed by the institute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday as part of an emblem featuring contributions from 20 institutions across India. Student designers presented the emblem to Modi.
