MEA calls social media posts on BRICS leaders’ health “misleading”, cautions against “malicious” claims

New Delhi [India], September 18 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday cautioned against “malicious” and “misleading” social media posts concerning the health of world leaders who attended the BRICS Summit in New Delhi, amid unverified claims surrounding Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

In a post on X, the MEA said, “Misleading! We caution against such malicious posts on social media platforms!”
