Trust deficit: Bombay House splits over Tata Sons listing and Chandrasekaran’s return as chairman

A sharp divide between the two Tata Trusts nominees on the Tata Sons board has emerged over the holding company’s most consequential decisions on Thursday — its listing and the continuation of N Chandrasekaran as chairman.

Noel Tata and fellow Tata Trusts nominee Venu Srinivasan took opposing positions on both issues, forcing the board to rely on casting votes to resolve them, people familiar with the proceedings said.
