Lam Research to invest ₹10,000 crore in India to set-up silicon component making facility
NEW DELHI: Semiconductor manufacturing equipment supplier Lam Research on Wednesday said it intends to invest nearly ₹10,000 crore over the coming years to establish its first silicon component manufacturing facility in the country and augment its research and development (R&D) operations.
The new manufacturing facility will support a vertically integrated process spanning silicon ingot production and processing for advanced semiconductor technologies and leading-edge nodes.
