Infineon to sell NOR FLASH, F-RAM business to Winbond for $1.12 billion
NEW DELHI: German chipmaker Infineon Technologies said on Wednesday that it has entered into an agreement to sell its NOR FLASH and F-RAM business in a $1.12 billion all-cash deal to Winbond.
The business serves customers across automotive, industrial and infrastructure markets.
Subject to obtaining the required regulatory approvals, the companies expect to conclude the transaction in the second half of 2027, as per a joint statement.
