Verizon CEO details strategic shifts, efficiency, AI infrastructure investments
NEW DELHI: Verizon CEO Dan Schulman recently discussed the company’s strategic progress over the past year at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology 2026 conference. He highlighted four key areas of emphasis: customer obsession, cultural transformation, business model redefinition for efficiency, and delivering strong investor returns, as reported by Fierce Network.
Schulman noted a shift from an engineering-focused approach to customer obsession, aiming to reduce churn and increase postpaid phone net additions. Churn has been decreasing year-over-year, and Verizon reported 184,000 postpaid phone net additions and over 550,000 total mobility and broadband net additions in Q2 2026.
