SES completes O3b mPOWER constellation with three new satellite launches
NEW DELHI: SES said on Sunday that is has successfully launched its 11th, 12th, and 13th O3b mPOWER satellites, completing its second-generation medium Earth orbit (MEO) system. This expansion aims to enhance high-performance connectivity services worldwide, particularly for underserved, remote, and demanding environments.
The three satellites were launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This milestone reinforces SES’s proven leadership in the MEO segment and advances its innovation roadmap.
