Extreme Networks launches AI agent for network automation

Extreme Networks has launched an agentic artificial intelligence (AI) solution, Extreme Agent One Coworker, designed to significantly improve network automation and issue resolution. The new offering, part of the Extreme Platform One suite, is claimed to resolve networking problems up to 15 times faster than traditional human-led teams.

The solution leverages real-time network context and historical trend analysis to deliver instant recommendations to “humans in the loop.” It maps connections across users, devices, applications, services, and network conditions, utilising retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to enhance output accuracy by retrieving external data.
