GCCs are India’s next big economic engine — 2,100 hubs, $98 billion revenue and a big AI ambition

India’s next chapter of economic growth is being written not in boardrooms abroad, but in innovation labs and engineering centres across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Gurugram and beyond.

According to the ‘Navigating the skills imperative for India’s GCCs in the AI era’ study carried out by PwC and FICCI, GCCs in India are at the centre of a major shift. These centres now employ 2.36 million skilled workers and generate USD 98.4 billion in revenue.
