US suspends Cognizant, Cloudera permanent labour certification filings amid visa fraud probe
The US Department of Labour has suspended permanent labour certification (PERM) filings by Cognizant and Cloudera amid the Trump administration’s wider investigation into alleged fraud in employment visa programmes.
Department of Labour Inspector General Anthony D’Esposito announced the suspension on Tuesday, saying the move followed an investigation into the two companies in coordination with the White House Fraud Task Force and other officials.
