Tata group to build 1GW AI data centre campus in Hyderabad with Rs 70,000 crore investment

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) subsidiary HyperVault will develop an artificial intelligence (AI) data centre campus with a capacity of up to 1 gigawatt (GW) across more than 250 acres in Hyderabad, with the company and its partners expected to invest up to Rs 70,000 crore in the project.

The project, billed as one of India’s largest AI data centre campuses, is expected to create around 7,000 direct and indirect jobs, according to the Telangana government and TCS.
