Jio clocks 43% growth in Bengal, commands 46% wireless telecom market share

Reliance Jio, which completed 10 years of commercial operations on Saturday, has emerged as the dominant wireless telecom operator in Bengal, recording a compounded annual growth rate of 43.1 per cent in its subscriber base since launch and commanding a 46 per cent market share in the state.

Jio had 11.4 lakh wireless subscribers in Bengal — comprising the Calcutta and Bengal circles — in its first month of operations.
