Hexaware CEO Srikrishna quits, EXL veteran named successor

Indian IT services firm Hexaware said on Wednesday that Vivek Jetley, a senior executive at Nasdaq-listed EXL, would take over as its CEO, effective October 28.

The ‌company said ⁠Srikrishna ⁠Ramakarthikeyan had resigned as CEO to ​pursue personal interests and will be relieved of ​his duties next month. He held the post for over a ​decade and also oversaw ⁠Hexaware’s listing ‌on the bourses last ​year.

The ​resignation comes as Indian ⁠IT services firms face the double whammy ​of AI-related disruption and macro ​overhang that is forcing clients to tweak tech spends.
