Duolingo partners with India’s Bharti Airtel to offer 12-month access to ‘Super Duolingo’

Duolingo, a mobile learning platform, on Thursday said it has partnered with India’s Bharti Airtel to offer 12-month access to Super Duolingo to the telecom operator’s 376 million subscribers at no additional cost.

The partnership will give Airtel subscribers access to Duolingo’s premium ad-free learning experience, including unlimited energy, AI-powered real-time speaking practice, personalised exercises and mistake review, the companies said in a joint statement.

Through this partnership, Airtel is extending its focus on differentiated customer experiences by bringing a quality digital learning platform to customers, the statement added.

Duolingo, a popular smartphone application, allows users an easy and engaging way to build language skills and develop consistent learning habits.

The Super Duolingo subscription will be available to Airtel customers across mobile, Wi-Fi and DTH, who can access the offer through the Airtel Thanks App, with no credit card required.

“India is one of our most important markets, and we see a growing appetite for language learning driven by the needs of students, professionals and an increasingly global workforce,” said Rashi Dhanani, head of business development at Duolingo India.

“Our partnership with Airtel brings Super Duolingo to a wider audience, giving learners across India access to an enhanced learning experience and more ways to stay motivated and make consistent progress,” she added.
