I-T Department searches Dentsu Media Group premises in suspected tax evasion case

Mumbai: The Income-tax Department on Tuesday searched multiple premises linked to the Dentsu Media Group in connection with a suspected case of tax evasion.

These searches were conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru, and covered multiple entities linked to the Japanese advertising and communications major’s India operations, people familiar with the matter said.

Dentsu was not immediately available for comment.
