HFCL wins single largest optical fibre cable export deal worth ₹2,329 crore

NEW DELHI: Homegrown HFCL has won its single-largest export deal worth ₹2,329 crore (~$244 million) to supply high-fibre-count optical fibre cables (OFC) to an international customer.

“…the company has entered into a three-year supply agreement with a customer for the supply of high-quality, high-fibre-count OFC, through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary,” HFCL said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

“The total value of the contract over its tenure is estimated at ~$ 244 million, equivalent to ~₹2,329 crore,” it added.
