DoT, C-DoT ink agreement to establish optical network testbed

NEW DELHI: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) on Friday signed a five-year agreement to establish an end-to-end optical network testbed at the latter’s campus here.

“It will serve as a critical real-world environment to accelerate the development, testing, and commercialisation of optical communication solutions created by Indian startups and industry players,” the telecom department said in an official statement.
