CG Power’s OSAT facility may generate $500 million in annual revenue at scale, says Chairman Subbiah: Report
NEW DELHI: CG Power’s outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility could generate $500 million in annual revenue once it reaches scale, said Chairman Vellayan Subbiah, according to a report by CNBC-TV18.
He said the near-term priority for the semiconductor business is to gradually increase the utilisation at its new packaging facility.
The Mumbai-headquartered conglomerate aims to achieve 70% utilisation at its larger semiconductor packaging facility – G2 – in about four years, according to him. He, though, underscored that the annual revenue from the unit would depend on product mix and market conditions.
