100+ tech firms join OpenAI for ‘ collective action’ on cyber defence

New Delhi [India], August 28 (ANI): More than 100 tech companies, including Anthropic, AWS, Google and Microsoft, have joined OpenAI for ‘collective action’ on cyber defence, amid warnings that AI-enabled cyberattacks could become far more widespread in the coming months, said OpenAI.

OpenAI President & Co-Founder Gred Brockman shared the update via his social media account, stressing there is a “limited window to strengthen cyber defences.” As per an open letter shared by OpenAI, AI-powered cyberattacks will likely become increasingly sophisticated as AI models continue to grow more capable.
