TCS buys Porsche arm for 320 million euros as AI partnership with German carmaker expands

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will buy Porsche AG’s automotive and consulting unit MHP, ​the IT major said on Monday, as part of ‌a wider partnership under which Porsche has committed €1.25 billion ($1.46 billion) for the Indian firm and MHP.

The deal comes at a time when AI has ​been disrupting traditional outsourcing models in India’s $315 billion IT industry.
