This new version of the AI chatbot is designed to offer users aged 13 to 17 a new experience that brings learning tools and stronger built-in safety protections into ChatGPT. The company said the experience is designed to help teenagers learn, think critically, deepen their understanding and use AI with greater awareness.
ChatGPT for Teens includes stronger safety features by default in areas including self-harm, violence, eating disorders, dangerous activities, and sexually explicit or graphic content.
