ChatGPT for teens, with guardrails: OpenAI limits essay writing for young users
ChatGPT will no longer write your teenager’s essay. Users aged 13 to 17 will be moved automatically to a new version of the chatbot designed to walk students through a problem instead of handing over the answer.
The ChatGPT for Teens mode also comes with stricter controls around image generation and content involving graphic violence, depictions of self-harm and sexual or romantic role-play.
