Paytm founder’s Resilient Asset Management to sell up to 4.98% stake in fintech via block deal

One 97 Communications Limited, the parent of digital payments firm Paytm, told stock exchanges on Monday that Resilient Asset Management BV plans to sell up to 4.98% of its shareholding in the company through a block market trade.

The economic value from the sale will be retained by Ant Group’s Antfin (Netherlands) Holding BV under an existing optionally convertible debenture (OCD) agreement between the two entities, according to the disclosure filed.

Resilient Asset Management BV is wholly owned by Paytm founder and chief executive Vijay Shekhar Sharma.
