HCL-Foxconn JV names Shikhar Malhotra as Chairman
NEW DELHI: The HCL-Foxconn joint venture, India Chip, has appointed Shikhar Malhotra as its Chairman.
Malhotra, who is also the Chairman of HCL Capital, will play an instrumental role in establishing India Chip’s display drive integrated circuit (DDIC) outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.
India Chip is making rapid progress towards establishing a “state-of-the-art DDIC OSAT facility in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, strengthening India’s growing semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem”, the company said in a post on the networking platform LinkedIn on Friday.
