Chandrasekaran to step away as Tata Sons chairperson, cites a ‘board member’
Natarajan Chandrasekaran will not seek another stint as Tata Sons chairman when his current term ends in February 2027, calling time on his nine-year run at the helm of the country’s biggest business conglomerate that has an all-pervading presence in the lives of Indians and one that he helped stabilise after a bruising boardroom coup and also aggressively expand.
In a statement where he announced that he had informed the Tata Sons board that he would not offer himself for reappointment when his term ends on February 20, 2027,
