Microsoft launches Hyderabad cloud region, expands to four datacenter regions in India
Microsoft has launched a new cloud region in Hyderabad. The company announced the general availability of its India South Central cloud region in Hyderabad, expanding its footprint to four Microsoft-operated datacenter regions in India. The new region enables customers to run eligible Microsoft Cloud services and workloads locally while supporting AI, cloud modernisation, and enterprise applications with security, compliance, and governance capabilities.
The Hyderabad launch strengthens Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure in India alongside its existing regions in Pune, Chennai and Mumbai.
