India emerges as strategic R&D, innovation hub for silicon, says Ericsson executive
NEW DELHI: India has emerged as a strategic R&D and innovation hub for Ericsson, moving beyond engineering execution, according to a senior executive.
“We are strengthening our application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) research and development (R&D) capabilities in Bengaluru as we look to deepen India’s role in the development of next-generation telecom technologies,” Raman Rengarajan, head of Ericsson Silicon India, told ETElectronicsWorld in an interview.
