Retail investors may join PE firms in India’s data center, AI boom: Sify’s Sharad Agarwal
NEW DELHI: A top executive of the IPO-bound Sify Infinit Spaces said that there is a real demand for artificial intelligence (AI) amid concerns of a bubble forming in the market, and added that the equity (PE) firms’ conviction may attract retail investors to data center and AI sectors in India.
“There has been enough investor excitement about AI and the data center for a long time, and primarily this has been on the private equity side because the capital demand is humongous,” Sharad Agarwal, CEO, Sify Infinit Spaces, told ETDatacenters in an interview.
