Bengaluru hotels warn of Swiggy boycott from August 15 over payment disputes, unauthorised deductions
The Bangalore Hotels Association (BHA) has warned that hotels affiliated with it and other hospitality bodies in Bengaluru will suspend business with Swiggy from August 15 if the food delivery platform fails to address concerns over payment transparency, unauthorised deductions and advertising-related charges. The association said it has given the company a final opportunity to resolve the issues through discussions before taking the proposed action.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, the BHA said all affiliated associations had unanimously decided to stop doing business with Swiggy from Independence Day if corrective measures were not implemented.
